Bandwidth allocation method and apparatus, user equipment, and base station

An apparatus, comprising at least one processor coupled with a non-transitory processor-readable medium storing instructions, wherein when the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to:

• transmit at least two pieces of virtual bandwidth configuration information for at least two virtual bandwidths of a serving cell, wherein each of the at least two pieces of virtual bandwidth configuration information indicates a configuration of a virtual bandwidth of the at least two virtual bandwidths;
• and
• transmit first configuration information, wherein the first configuration information indicates a first virtual bandwidth for at least one of signal reception or signal processing for a user equipment (UE), wherein the at least one of signal reception or signal processing comprises at least one of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) reception or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search;
• wherein each of the at least two virtual bandwidths is a part or all of a downlink transmission bandwidth of the serving cell.

A non-transitory processor-readable medium storing instructions, wherein when the instructions are executed by at least one processor, an apparatus is caused to:

• transmit at least two pieces of virtual bandwidth configuration information for at least two virtual bandwidths of a serving cell, wherein each of the at least two pieces of virtual bandwidth configuration information indicates a configuration of a virtual bandwidth of the at least two virtual bandwidths;
• and
• transmit first configuration information, wherein the first configuration information indicates a first virtual bandwidth for performing at least one of signal reception or signal processing for a user equipment (UE), wherein the at least one of signal reception or signal processing comprises at least one of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) reception or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) search:
• wherein each of the at least two virtual bandwidths is a part or all of a downlink transmission bandwidth of the serving cell.
