Method for operating multiple sidelink positioning sessions in wireless communication system, and device therefor

A user equipment (UE) comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the UE to perform operations comprising,
• receiving a location request message;
• transmitting a request message for UE capability information to a plurality of anchor UEs;
• receiving the UE capability information from the plurality of anchor UEs;
• and
• establishing a plurality of positioning sessions associated with the location request message with the plurality of anchor UEs based on the UE capability information, and
• wherein each of the plurality of positioning sessions is established with two or more anchor UEs.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising program instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a user equipment (UE) to perform operations

• comprising:
• receiving a location request message;
• transmitting a request message for UE capability information to a plurality of anchor UEs;
• receiving the UE capability information from the plurality of anchor UEs;
• and
• establishing a plurality of positioning sessions associated with the location request message with the plurality of anchor UEs based on the UE capability information, and
• wherein each of the plurality of positioning sessions is established with two or more anchor UEs.
