Abstract
This application provides a communication method and an apparatus. One example method includes: sending a registration request to a network to register with the network; sending a session establishment request to the network to establish a first session; receiving third-party subscription data from a third-party configuration server by using the first session; after receiving the third-party subscription data, initiating a session release procedure and a deregistration procedure; and re-registering with the network by using the third-party subscription data.
Claims8
A communication method, comprising:
- sending a registration request to a network to register with the network;
- sending a session establishment request to the network to establish a first session;
- receiving third-party subscription data from a third-party configuration server by using the first session;
- after receiving the third-party subscription data, initiating a session release procedure and a deregistration procedure;
- and
- re-registering with the network by using the third-party subscription data.
An apparatus, comprising
- a transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- one or more memories coupled to the at least one processor and storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to:
- send a registration request to a network to register with the network;
- send a session establishment request to the network to establish a first session;
- receive third-party subscription data from a third-party configuration server by using the first session;
- after receiving the third-party subscription data, initiate a session release procedure and a deregistration procedure;
- and
- re-register with the network by using the third-party subscription data.
