Abstract
A cell selection method includes selecting, by a user equipment (UE), a cluster-based cell, where the cluster-based cell includes a plurality of clusters, and selecting, by the UE, one or more initial clusters from the plurality of clusters within the cluster-based cell.

A cell selection method, comprising:
- selecting, by a user equipment (UE), a cluster-based cell, wherein the cluster-based cell comprises a plurality of clusters;
- and
- selecting, by the UE, one or more initial clusters from the plurality of clusters within the cluster-based cell.
A user equipment (UE), comprising:
- a memory;
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processor coupled to the memory and the transceiver;
- wherein the processor is configured to perform:
- selecting a cluster-based cell, wherein the cluster-based cell comprises a plurality of clusters;
- and
- selecting one or more initial clusters from the plurality of clusters within the cluster-based cell.
