Information processing method and device, apparatus, and storage medium

A method for processing information, applied to an encoder, comprising:

• predicting a chroma component sample value of a coding block by using a prediction mode to obtain a prediction block, wherein the prediction mode applies a Position-Dependent Prediction Combination (PDPC), and wherein the chroma component sample value of the coding block is predicted by using the prediction mode to obtain the prediction block when any of the following conditions is met:
• when the prediction mode is an angular prediction mode with an index equal to 8;
• or,
• when the prediction mode is an angular prediction mode with an index equal to 60;
• refining the prediction block according to the prediction mode to obtain a refinement block;
• and
• determining a difference between the coding block and the refinement block to obtain a residual block;
• and
• signalling the residual block and the prediction mode in a bitstream.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, having a computer program and a bitstream stored thereon, wherein the computer program, when executed by a processor, enables the processor to perform the steps of an encoding method to generate the bitstream, wherein the encoding method comprises:

• predicting a chroma component sample value of a coding block by using a prediction mode to obtain a prediction block, wherein the prediction mode applies a Position-Dependent Prediction Combination (PDPC), and wherein the chroma component sample value of the coding block is predicted by using the prediction mode to obtain the prediction block when any of the following conditions is met:
• when the prediction mode is an angular prediction mode with an index equal to 8;
• or,
• when the prediction mode is an angular prediction mode with an index equal to 60;
• refining the prediction block according to the prediction mode to obtain a refinement block;
• and
• determining a difference between the coding block and the refinement block to obtain a residual block;
• and
• signalling the residual block and the prediction mode in a bitstream.
