Abstract
Image encoding/decoding method and device according to the present invention enable deciding of an intra-screen prediction mode of a target block, generation of a prediction block of the target block on the basis of the intra-screen prediction mode, and correction of the generated prediction block.
Claims6
A method for decoding an image comprising:
- deriving a prediction mode of a current block;
- generating a prediction block based on the prediction mode of the current block;
- deriving a transform coefficient of the current block by performing an inverse-quantization on quantized transform coefficient;
- deriving a residual block of the current block by performing an inverse-transform on the transform coefficient of the current block;
- and
- reconstructing the current block based on the prediction block and the residual block of the current block,
- wherein, the current block is determined to be partitioned into a plurality of subblocks based on an aspect ratio of the current block, and the prediction mode of an inter prediction for the current block,
- wherein in response to the determination, the current block is partitioned into the plurality of subblocks based on information on partitioning, and
- wherein a shape of each subblock comprises a triangle shape.

A method for encoding an image comprising:
- deriving a prediction mode of a current block;
- generating a prediction block based on the prediction mode of the current block;
- generating a residual block of the current block based on the prediction block;
- and
- encoding the current block based on the prediction block and the residual block of the current block,

- deriving transform coefficient by performing transform on the residual block of the current block into transform coefficient;
- deriving quantized transform coefficient of the current block by performing quantization on the transform coefficient;

- encoding the current block based on the quantized transform coefficient,
- wherein, the current block is determined to be partitioned into a plurality of subblocks based on an aspect ratio of the current block, and the prediction mode of an inter prediction for the current block,
- wherein in response to the determination, the current block is partitioned into the plurality of subblocks, and
- wherein a shape of each subblock comprises a triangle shape.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a bitstream generated by a method for encoding an image comprising:
- deriving a prediction mode of a current block;
- generating a prediction block based on the prediction mode of the current block;
- generating a residual block of the current block based on the prediction block;

- wherein encoding the current block based on the prediction block and the residual block of the current block comprising:

- encoding the current block based on the quantized transform coefficient,
- wherein, the current block is determined to be partitioned into a plurality of subblocks based on an aspect ratio of the current block, and the prediction mode of an inter prediction for the current block,
- wherein in response to the determination, the current block is partitioned into the plurality of subblocks, and
- wherein a shape of each subblock comprises a triangle shape.

- deriving a prediction mode of a current block;
