Differential transmission of qoe reports and rvqoe reports

A User Equipment (UE) adapted to:

• receive, from a network node, one or more messages comprising a Quality of Experience (QoE), configuration and a Radio Access Network (RAN) visible QoE (RVQoE) configuration;
• wherein the QoE configuration comprises an indication indicating a first signaling radio bearer (SRB) to use for reporting QoE measurements;
• and
• wherein the RVQoE configuration comprises an indication indicating a second signaling radio bearer (SRB to use for reporting RVQoE measurements;
• perform QoE measurement and RVQoE measurements in accordance with the QoE configuration and the RVQoE configurations, respectively;
• transmit a QoE report comprising QoE measurement results using the first SRB indicated for reporting the QoE measurements;
• and
• transmit a RVQoE report comprising RVQoE measurements using the second SRB indicated for reporting RVQoE measurements.

A User Equipment (UE) comprising:

• a communication interface;
• and
• processing circuitry associated with the communication interface, the processing circuitry configured to cause the UE to:
• receive, from a network node, one or more messages comprising a Quality of Experience (QoE) configuration and a Radio Access Network (RAN) visible QoE (RVQoE) configuration;
• wherein the QoE configuration comprises an indication indicating a first signaling radio bearer, SRB, to use for reporting QoE measurements;
• and
• wherein the RVQoE configuration comprises an indication indicating a second signaling radio bearer (SRB) to use for reporting RVQoE measurements;
• perform QoE measurements and RVQoE measurements in accordance with the QoE configuration and the RVQoE configurations, respectively;
• transmit a QoE report comprising QoE measurements results using the SRB indicated for reporting the QoE measurements;
• and
• transmit a RVQoE report comprising RVQoE measurements using the SRB indicated for reporting RVQoE measurements.

A method performed by a first network node, the method comprising:

• transmitting, to a User Equipment (UE), one or more messages comprising one or more Quality of Experience (QoE) configurations and one or more Radio Access Network (RAN) visible QoE (RVQoE) configurations, wherein:
• for each QoE configuration or commonly for the one or more QoE configurations, an indication that indicates a network node to which respective QoE reports are to be sent;
• and
• for each RVQoE configuration or commonly for the one or more RVQoE configurations, an indication that indicates a network node to which respective RVQoE reports are to be sent.

A method performed by a second network node, the method comprising:

• receiving, from a User Equipment (UE), one or more messages comprising one or more Quality of Experience (QoE), reports associated to one or more QoE configurations and one or more Radio Access Network (RAN) visible QoE (RVQoE) reports associated to one or more RVQoE configurations, wherein:
• for each QoE configuration or commonly for the one or more QoE configurations, the UE is either configured with or determines a network node to which respective QoE reports are to be sent;
• and
• for each RVQoE configuration or commonly for the one or more RVQoE configurations, the UE is either configured with or determines a network node to which respective RVQoE reports are to be sent.
