Abstract
A system comprises a power-over-ethernet (POE) network switch; an intelligent power distribution hub and gateway (IPDHG) configured to communicate with the POE network switch; a rechargeable battery configured to be recharged by the POE network switch; and one or more low duty cycle devices configured to communicate with the IPDHG, wherein the one or more low duty cycle devices are charged by the rechargeable battery.

The method comprising:
- determining, by one or more processors, that power of an energy storage device is insufficient to simultaneously power one or more motors running in parallel;
- establishing, by the one or more processors, synchronization timing with the one or more motors;
- and
- providing, by the one or more processors, one or more time slots to access the power from the energy storage device based on the synchronization timing, to one or more controllers respectively associated with the one or more motors,
- wherein the one or more controllers cause the one or more motors to obtain the power from the energy storage device during the one or more time slots.
