A terminal comprising:

• a receiver that receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating a combination of unified Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states;
• and
• a processor that maintains, among a plurality of unified TCI states that are applied, a unified TCI state whose update is not indicated by the combination,
• wherein the combination includes at least two of a first downlink TCI state, a first uplink TCI state, a second downlink TCI state, and a second uplink TCI state.

A radio communication method for a terminal, comprising:

• receiving downlink control information (DCI) indicating a combination of unified Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states;
• and
• maintaining, among a plurality of unified TCI states that are applied, a unified TCI state whose update is not indicated by the combination,
• wherein the combination includes at least two of a first downlink TCI state, a first uplink TCI state, a second downlink TCI state, and a second uplink TCI state.

A base station comprising:

• a transmitter that transmits downlink control information (DCI) indicating a combination of unified Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states;
• and
• a processor that determines that a unified TCI state whose update is not indicated by the combination, among a plurality of unified TCI states that are applied to a terminal, is maintained in the terminal,
• wherein the combination includes at least two of a first downlink TCI state, a first uplink TCI state, a second downlink TCI state, and a second uplink TCI state.

A system comprising a terminal and a base station, wherein

• the terminal comprises:
• a receiver that receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating a combination of unified Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) states;
• and
• a processor that maintains, among a plurality of unified TCI states that are applied, a unified TCI state whose update is not indicated by the combination,
• wherein the combination includes at least two of a first downlink TCI state, a first uplink TCI state, a second downlink TCI state, and a second uplink TCI state, and
• the base station comprises:
• a transmitter that transmits the DCI.
