Abstract
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for electronic devices, including user interfaces for viewing and interacting with media items.
Claims22
A computer system that is configured to communicate with a display generation component and one or more input devices, the computer system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
- displaying, via the display generation component, a user interface that includes:
- a first representation of a stereoscopic media item, wherein the first representation of the stereoscopic media item includes at least a first edge;
- and
- a visual effect, wherein the visual effect obscures at least a first portion of the stereoscopic media item, wherein the visual effect extends inwards from at least the first edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item towards an interior of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item, and wherein the visual effect is displayed on the first edge and a second edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- while displaying the first representation of the stereoscopic media item, detecting a first change in a viewpoint of a user, wherein the first change in the viewpoint of the user includes a change in an angle of the viewpoint of the user relative to the display of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- and
- in response to detecting the first change in the viewpoint of the user:
- in accordance with a determination that the first change in the viewpoint of the user is in a first direction, increasing a size of the visual effect on at least the second edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- and
- in accordance with a determination that the first change in the viewpoint of the user is in a second direction that is different from the first direction, increasing the size of the visual effect on at least the first edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of a computer system that is in communication with a display generation component, the one or more programs including instructions for:
- displaying, via the display generation component, a user interface that includes:
- a first representation of a stereoscopic media item, wherein the first representation of the stereoscopic media item includes at least a first edge;
- and
- a visual effect, wherein the visual effect obscures at least a first portion of the stereoscopic media item wherein the visual effect extends inwards from at least the first edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item towards an interior of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item, and wherein the visual effect is displayed on the first edge and a second edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- while displaying the first representation of the stereoscopic media item, detecting a first change in a viewpoint of a user, wherein the first change in the viewpoint of the user includes a change in an angle of the viewpoint of the user relative to the display of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- and
- in response to detecting the first change in the viewpoint of the user:
- in accordance with a determination that the first change in the viewpoint of the user is in a first direction, increasing a size of the visual effect on at least the second edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- and
- in accordance with a determination that the first change in the viewpoint of the user is in a second direction that is different from the first direction, increasing the size of the visual effect on at least the first edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item.
A method, comprising:
- at a computer system that is in communication with a display generation component:
- displaying, via the display generation component, a user interface that includes:
- a first representation of a stereoscopic media item, wherein the first representation of the stereoscopic media item includes at least a first edge;
- and
- a visual effect, wherein the visual effect obscures at least a first portion of the stereoscopic media item wherein the visual effect extends inwards from at least the first edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item towards an interior of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item, and wherein the visual effect is displayed on the first edge and a second edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- while displaying the first representation of the stereoscopic media item, detecting a first change in a viewpoint of a user, wherein the first change in the viewpoint of the user includes a change in an angle of the viewpoint of the user relative to the display of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- and
- in response to detecting the first change in the viewpoint of the user:
- in accordance with a determination that the first change in the viewpoint of the user is in a first direction, increasing a size of the visual effect on at least the second edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item;
- and
- in accordance with a determination that the first change in the viewpoint of the user is in a second direction that is different from the first direction, increasing the size of the visual effect on at least the first edge of the first representation of the stereoscopic media item.
