Electrophotographic apparatus and process cartridge

A process cartridge comprising:

• an electrophotographic photosensitive member;
• and
• a contact developing device having a toner and a developing roller and configured to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on a surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive member by bringing the developing roller carrying the toner into contact with the electrophotographic photosensitive member,
• wherein the process cartridge integrally supports the electrophotographic photosensitive member and the contact developing device, and is detachably attachable to an electrophotographic apparatus main body,
• wherein the electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a surface layer containing a binder resin,
• the binder resin includes a polyester resin,
• the polyester resin has a structural unit represented by Formula (1) and a structural unit represented by Formula (2),
• the developing roller has an elastic layer, and
• the elastic layer contains urethane rubber,
