A membrane bound interleukin 15 (IL-15)-IL-15Rα sushi domain chimeric polypeptide, comprising:
- (1) an IL-15 polypeptide, (2) a first linker linking the IL-15 polypeptide to an IL-15Rα sushi domain polypeptide and (3) a transmembrane domain comprising a FAS transmembrane domain comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 85% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 22 or SEQ ID NO:42.
