Abstract
The present disclosure relates to fluid emulsion compositions including a UV absorbing system (component) including at least one physical ultraviolet (UV)-attenuating material, a surfactant system (component) including at least one surfactant, and a thickening system, as well as to methods of making and using such compositions.
Claims18
A sunscreen composition comprising:
- a) a UV absorbing system comprising at least one physical ultraviolet (UV)-attenuating material;
- b) at least one surfactant;
- and
- c) a thickening system comprising at least one partially neutralized amphiphilic polymer, at least one hydrophobically-modified amphiphilic copolymer, and at least one anionic polysaccharide.
