Method and device for performing multi-slot based sidelink communication in unlicensed spectrum

A first device comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, cause the first device to perform operations comprising:
• obtaining configuration information related to a resource pool;
• triggering resource selection;
• determining a selection window based on the resource selection being triggered;
• determining a number of consecutive slots for multi-slot-based transmission, N;
• and
• determining, based on the number of consecutive slots, a candidate multi-slot resource in the resource pool within the selection window,
• wherein the candidate multi-slot resource is a resource included in N consecutive slots,
• wherein the N consecutive slots are consecutive in physical slots, and
• wherein the value of N is a positive integer.

A processing device adapted to control a first device,

• the processing device comprising:
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, cause the first device to perform operations comprising:
• obtaining configuration information related to a resource pool;
• triggering resource selection;
• determining a selection window based on the resource selection being triggered;
• determining number of consecutive slots for multi-slot-based transmission, N and
• determining, based on the number of consecutive slots, a candidate multi-slot resource in the resource pool within the selection window,
• wherein the candidate multi-slot resource is a resource included in N consecutive slots,
• wherein the N consecutive slots are consecutive in physical slots, and
• wherein the value of N is a positive integer.
