Multi-material core

A multi-material choke for a vehicle, comprising:

• a first end and a second end spaced from the first end;
• one or more first segments defining a perimeter that extends between the first end and the second end;
• and
• one or more second segments coupled to and arranged radially with respect to the perimeter of the one or more first segments, the one or more first segments and the one or more second segments defining at least one opening that extends between the first end and the second end.

A vehicle, comprising:

• a vehicle body;
• a propulsion system coupled to the vehicle body, comprising:
• an inverter having an input and an output,
• a battery communicatively coupled to the input of the inverter, and
• a motor communicatively coupled to the output of the inverter;
• and
• a multi-material choke arranged with respect to the propulsion system, comprising:
• a first end and a second end spaced from the first end,
• one or more first segments defining a perimeter that extends between the first end and the second end;
• and
• one or more second segments coupled to and arranged radially and circumferentially with respect to the perimeter of the one or more first segments, the one or more first segments and the one or more second segments defining at least one opening that extends between the first end and the second end.
