Abstract
Systems and methods that enable a user at a streaming device and/or one or more users at one or more client devices to realize one or more benefits associated with a location from which such devices interact with a live streaming platform.
Claims20
A live streaming platform server comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- responsive to a receipt of data associated with an interaction event occurring in association with a live stream displayed by a first client device located at a first location and at least partially based on wagering game data communicated from a streaming device, communicate data that results in a display device of the streaming device displaying a first benefit, and
- responsive to a receipt of data associated with the interaction event occurring in association with the live stream displayed by a second, different client device located at a second, different location, communicate data that results in the display device of the streaming device displaying a second, different benefit.

A streaming device comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- responsive to a receipt, from a live streaming platform, of a first benefit determined based on an interaction event occurring in association with a first client device, cause a display device to display the first benefit, wherein the first client device is located at a first location and displays a live stream associated with a play of a wagering game being displayed by the display device, and
- responsive to a receipt, from the live streaming platform, of a second, different benefit determined based on the interaction event occurring in association with a second, different client device, cause the display device to display the second, different benefit, wherein the second, different client device is located at a second, different location and displays the live stream.

A method of operating a live streaming platform server, the method comprising:
- responsive to a receipt of data associated with an interaction event occurring in association with a live stream displayed by a first client device located at a first location and at least partially based on wagering game data communicated from a streaming device, causing a display device of the streaming device to display a first benefit, and
- responsive to a receipt of data associated with the interaction event occurring in association with the live stream displayed by a second, different client device located at a second, different location, causing the display device of the streaming device to display a second, different benefit.
