Systems and methods for rotation management

An apparatus, the apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one non-transitory memory comprising program code, wherein the at least one non-transitory memory and the program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus to:

• obtain from a rotation table a plurality of versions of a rotation for performing a task in accordance with a task schedule, wherein:
• the plurality of versions comprises at least one historical version of the rotation and a current version of the rotation;
• in response to a detection of at least one modification to the rotation, update the current version of the rotation to generate an updated version of the rotation;
• enable write access for the rotation table in response to the updated version of the rotation;
• and
• write the updated version of the rotation to the rotation table, the updated version of the rotation being written as an additional entry to the plurality of versions of the rotation.

A computer program product, the computer program product comprising at least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-readable program code portions stored therein, the computer-readable program code portions configured to:

• obtain from a rotation table a plurality of versions of a rotation for performing a task in accordance with a task schedule, wherein:
• the plurality of versions comprises at least one historical version of the rotation and a current version of the rotation;
• in response to a detection of at least one modification to the rotation, update the current version of the rotation to generate an updated version of the rotation;
• enable write access for the rotation table in response to the updated version of the rotation;
• and
• write the updated version of the rotation to the rotation table, the updated version of the rotation being written as an additional entry to the plurality of versions of the rotation.
