Graphical user interface for displaying interactive tables

A method for generating a graphical user interface for displaying interactive tables, the method comprising steps of:

• providing a computing system including a processor connected to a non-transitory storage device;
• providing a table application having computer-readable instructions and being stored in the storage device;
• operatively connecting a user device to the computing system with a network connection, the user device having a display screen;
• and
• wherein, upon execution of the computer-readable instructions by the processor, the computing system performs steps of,
• sending to the user device a data set and instructions causing the user device to generate a display of a display table on the display screen, the display table display including data from the data set and an actuatable icon or button;
• and
• in response to actuation of the icon or button sending further instructions to the user device causing the user device to switch the display table display to a display of an interactive table on the display screen, the interactive table display including the data from the display table.
