Abstract
To provide an electrophotographic photosensitive member having high cleanability and hardly causing image blurring to occur even in use in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment. An electrophotographic photosensitive member having a surface layer containing a binder resin, wherein the surface layer contains a polydimethylsiloxane having a polyester chain, and oleamide.
Claims14
An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising a surface layer comprising a binder resin, wherein
- the surface layer comprises a polydimethylsiloxane having a polyester chain, and oleamide.
A process cartridge integrally supporting:
- an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a surface layer comprising a binder resin, wherein the surface layer comprises a polydimethylsiloxane having a polyester chain, and oleamide;
- and
- at least one unit selected from the group consisting of a charging unit, a developing unit and a cleaning unit,
- the process cartridge being detachable from the body of an electrophotographic apparatus.
An electrophotographic apparatus having an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a surface layer comprising a binder resin, wherein the surface layer comprises a polydimethylsiloxane having a polyester chain, and oleamide;
- a charging unit;
- an exposure unit;
- a developing unit;
- and a transfer unit.
A method for producing an electrophotographic photosensitive member having a surface layer, the method comprising:
- preparing a coating liquid for the surface layer;
- applying the coating liquid;
- and
- solidifying the applied coating liquid by drying or curing,
- wherein the coating liquid comprises a polydimethylsiloxane having a polyester chain, and oleamide.
