A portable air conditioner, configured to be fitted with a packaging member for packaging the portable air conditioner, the packaging member comprising a damping protruding portion configured to be arranged in an accommodation cavity of the portable air conditioner, and an accommodation groove configured to wrap an air duct assembly of the portable air conditioner, wherein the accommodation groove is configured to at least partially extend into the accommodation cavity,

• the portable air conditioner comprising:
• a housing, wherein an upper portion of the housing has the accommodation cavity and an accommodation opening, the accommodation opening faces upwards and is communicated with the accommodation cavity, and at least part of the accommodation cavity is configured to accommodate the damping protruding portion of the packaging member;
• and
• the air duct assembly configured to be wrapped by the accommodation groove of the packaging member, wherein the accommodation opening is configured to be passed through by the air duct assembly.
