Claims22
A method of treating an inflammatory disease or disorder, comprising administering to an individual with the inflammatory disease or disorder a tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha variant comprising a polypeptide that specifically binds tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2), wherein the polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence having at least 90% identity to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 or SEQ ID NO:
- 2, and wherein the polypeptide comprises a tyrosine (Y) at amino acid position 143, numbering according to the sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, and a glycine (G) at amino acid position 145, numbering according to the sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1.
9-30. (canceled)
A method for selectively activating tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2) in an individual, comprising administering to the individual a tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha variant comprising a polypeptide that specifically binds to TNFR2, wherein the polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 10 or SEQ ID NO:
- 9.
A method of manufacturing a tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha variant comprising a polypeptide that specifically binds to tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2), wherein the polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 10 or SEQ ID NO:
- 9.
