Abstract
A method calibrates running-gear control for a rail vehicle. In the method, at least one value of a vehicle height of a rail vehicle with respect to a railway-platform upper edge of a railway platform on the track for the rail vehicle is detected by use of at least one suitable measuring device of the rail vehicle. A predefined value of a running-gear height is adjusted on the basis of the at least one detected value of the vehicle height by a suitably configured running-gear controller of the rail vehicle.

A method for calibrating a running gear control system of a rail vehicle, which comprises the following method steps of:
- a) detecting at least one value of a vehicle height of a rail vehicle with respect to an upper edge of a platform on a track of the rail vehicle by means of at least one measurement device of the rail vehicle;
- and
- b) adjusting a predefined value of a running gear height in dependence on the at least one detected value of the vehicle height by a running gear controller of the rail vehicle resulting in an adjusted value.
A method for calibrating a running gear control system of a rail vehicle, which comprises the following method steps of:
- detecting at least one value of a vehicle height of the rail vehicle with respect to an upper edge of a platform on a track of the rail vehicle by means of at least one measurement device of the rail vehicle;
- adjusting a predefined value of a running gear height in dependence on at least one detected value of the vehicle height by a running gear controller of the rail vehicle resulting in an adjusted value;
- reading out the adjusted value of the running gear height from the running gear controller;
- establishing a deviation of the adjusted value of the running gear height from the predefined value of the running gear height;
- detecting at least one value of a diameter of at least one wheel of a running gear set of the rail vehicle;
- turning the at least one wheel of the rail vehicle;
- detecting at least one value of a diameter of the at least one turned wheel of the rail vehicle;
- establishing a deviation of the at least one detected value of the diameter of the at least one wheel of the rail vehicle before and after the turning;
- selecting at least one wheel wear insert in dependence on the established deviation of the adjusted value of the running gear height from the predefined value of the running gear height and in dependence of the established deviation of the at least one detected value of the diameter of the at least one wheel of the rail vehicle before and after the turning;
- installing the selected wheel wear insert on the running gear;
- and
- predetermining a value of the running gear height in dependence on the established deviation of the adjusted value of the running gear height from the predefined value of the running gear height and in dependence on the established deviation of the at least one detected value of the diameter of the at least one wheel of the rail vehicle before and after the turning and in dependence on the installed wheel wear insert and storage of the predefined value of the running gear height in the running gear controller.
A rail vehicle, comprising:
- at least one measurement device for detecting at least one value of a vehicle height of a rail vehicle with respect to an upper edge of a platform on a track of the rail vehicle;
- and
- at least one running gear controller for controlling a running gear height and being embodied to adjust a predefined value of the running gear height in dependence on at least one detected value of the vehicle height.
