Information display apparatus

An information display apparatus comprising:

• a display unit provided in a moving body;
• and
• a microprocessor, wherein
• the microprocessor is configured to perform:
• recognizing a road sign around the moving body, and
• controlling the display unit to display sign information corresponding to the road sign in a display area of the display unit based on a result of the recognizing, wherein
• the display unit includes a first display unit on which at least the sign information is displayed alone or a plurality of pieces of the sign information are displayed adjacent to each other, and a second display unit present at a position different from the first display unit,
• the microprocessor is configured to perform
• the controlling including determining whether to display the sign information in the display area of the first display unit or in the display area of the second display unit according to a type of the road sign, and controlling the display unit to display the sign information in the determined display area.
