Variable particle size tissue collector

A device for collecting tissue fragments of variable sizes comprising:

• a) a top housing comprising an inner surface and a first universal adapter,
• b) at least two filters comprising a filter material and each having a different pore size,
• c) a filter distractor, and
• d) a bottom housing comprising an inner surface and a second universal adapter,
• wherein the at least two filters are assembled in series onto the filter distractor and wherein the filter material of the at least two filters does not contact the inner surface of the top housing or the inner surface of the bottom housing;
• wherein the filter distractor and the at least two filters are inserted into the top housing or bottom housing;
• and
• wherein the top housing and the bottom housing are assembled together into a container.
