Abstract
A clip device includes: a clip which has an arm configured to be openable and closable in an opening and closing direction; and a holder which supports the clip and extends in a first longitudinal direction along a first longitudinal axis, wherein the arm is configured to pivot about a proximal end portion of the arm relative to the holder in an insertion form in which the arm is closed to be insertable through a channel of an endoscope.

A clip device comprising:
- a clip which has an arm configured to be openable and closable in an opening and closing direction;
- and
- a holder which supports the clip and extends in a first longitudinal direction along a first longitudinal axis,
- wherein the arm is configured to pivot about a proximal end portion of the arm relative to the holder in an insertion form in which the arm is closed to be insertable through a channel of an endoscope.
