Abstract
Provided is a display panel including a substrate, a first pixel electrode disposed on the substrate, a bank layer covering edges of the first pixel electrode, the bank layer including a first bank layer opening that exposes a central portion of the first pixel electrode, and an intermediate insulating layer disposed between the substrate and the bank layer. The first pixel electrode extends over the intermediate insulating layer. The intermediate insulating layer includes a first insulating pattern overlapping a part of a lateral surface of the first bank layer opening.
Claims20
A display panel, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first pixel electrode disposed on the substrate;
- a bank layer covering edges of the first pixel electrode, the bank layer including a first bank layer opening that exposes a central portion of the first pixel electrode;
- and
- an intermediate insulating layer disposed between the substrate and the bank layer,
- wherein the first pixel electrode extends over the intermediate insulating layer, and
- wherein the intermediate insulating layer includes a first insulating pattern overlapping a part of a lateral surface of the first bank layer opening in a plan view.
An electronic apparatus, comprising:
- a processor;
- a memory having stored application programs for execution by the processor;
- a display device, comprising:
- a display panel comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first pixel electrode disposed on the substrate;
- a bank layer covering edges of the first pixel electrode, the bank layer including a first bank layer opening that exposes a central portion of the first pixel electrode;
- and
- an intermediate insulating layer disposed between the substrate and the bank layer, and
- wherein the first pixel electrode extends over the intermediate insulating layer,
- wherein the intermediate insulating layer includes a first insulating pattern overlapping a part of a lateral surface of the first bank layer opening in a plan view.
