Method and device for transmission or reception based on distributed resource unit tone plan in wireless lan system

An apparatus for a first station (STA), the apparatus comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• and
• at least one processor connected to the at least one transceiver,
• wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
• generate a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU);
• and
• transmit the PPDU to at least one second STA,
• wherein a transmission of the PPDU is based on at least one distributed-tone resource unit (DRU) tone plan,
• wherein a bandwidth for the PPDU includes an 80 MHz channel in which a 20 MHz channel is punctured, and
• wherein, based on a first frequency subblock and a second frequency subblock being configured within the 80 MHz channel, different DRU tone plans are applied to the first frequency subblock and the second frequency subblock.

An apparatus for a second station (STA), the apparatus comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• and
• at least one processor connected to the at least one transceiver,
• wherein the at least one processor is configured to:
• receive, from a first STA, a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU);
• and
• decode one or more fields included in the PPDU,
• wherein a transmission of the PPDU is based on at least one distributed-tone resource unit (DRU) tone plan,
• wherein a bandwidth for the PPDU includes an 80 MHz channel in which a 20 MHz channel is punctured, and
• wherein, based on a first frequency subblock and a second frequency subblock being configured within the 80 MHz channel, different DRU tone plans are applied to the first frequency subblock and the second frequency subblock.
