Abstract
Provided are a method and apparatus for receiving notification information in a wireless communication system. The terminal may receive a Narrowband-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) system information block type1. Then, after receiving the NB-IoT system information block type1, the terminal may receive at least one specific NB-IoT system information block type including Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System (ETWS) notification information. Subsequently, the terminal may forward at least a part of the ETWS notification information to an upper layer, wherein the ETWS notification information may include warning area coordinates information.
Claims14
A method for operating a Narrowband-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving an NB-IoT system information block type1;
- after receiving the NB-IoT system information block type1, receiving at least one NB-IoT system information block type including Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System (ETWS) notification information;
- and
- forwarding at least a part of the ETWS notification information to an upper layer,
- wherein the ETWS notification information includes warning area coordinates information.
A Narrowband-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) terminal in a wireless communication system, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory configured to store instructions and operably electrically connectable to the at least one processor,
- wherein operations performed based on the instructions executed by the at least one processor comprise:
- receiving an NB-IoT system information block type1;
- after receiving the NB-IoT system information block type1, receiving at least one NB-IoT system information block type including Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System (ETWS) notification information;
- and
- forwarding at least a part of the ETWS notification information to an upper layer,
- wherein the ETWS notification information includes warning area coordinates information.
