Method and apparatus for receiving notification information

A Narrowband-Internet of Things (NB-IoT) terminal in a wireless communication system, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory configured to store instructions and operably electrically connectable to the at least one processor,
• wherein operations performed based on the instructions executed by the at least one processor comprise:
• receiving Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System (ETWS) indication information;
• after receiving the ETWS indication information, receiving an NB-IoT system information block type 1;
• and
• after receiving the NB-IoT system information block type 1, receiving at least one NB-IoT system information block type including ETWS notification information,
• wherein the NB-IoT system information block type 1 includes scheduling information for the at least one specific NB-IoT system information block type, and
• wherein terminal capability information associated with the reception of the ETWS notification information is indicated to a network.
