Abstract
In some embodiments, a method comprises executing, by a head-tracked audio system, a first algorithm configured to dynamically update a forward head angle and a spatial orientation in response to a detected head movement, and a second algorithm configured to adjust a recentering filter based on the detected head movements, and maintaining, by the head-tracked audio system through execution of the first algorithm and the second algorithm, a spatial audio placement relative to a wearer during the detected head movements.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- executing, by a head-tracked audio system:
- a first algorithm configured to dynamically update a forward head angle and a spatial orientation in response to a detected head movement;
- and
- a second algorithm configured to adjust a recentering filter based on the detected head movements;
- and
- maintaining, by the head-tracked audio system through execution of the first algorithm and the second algorithm, a spatial audio placement relative to a wearer during the detected head movements.
A system comprising:
- at least one physical processor;
- and
- physical memory comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the physical processor, cause the physical processor to:
- execute a first algorithm that:
- dynamically updates a forward head angle and a spatial orientation in response to a detected head movement;
- execute a second algorithm that:
- adjusts a recentering filter based on the detected head movements;
- and
- maintain, through execution of the first algorithm and the second algorithm, a spatial audio placement relative to a wearer during the detected head movements.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising one or more computer-executable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a computing device, cause the computing device to:
- execute a first algorithm configured to dynamically update a forward head angle and a spatial orientation in response to a detected head movement;
- execute a second algorithm configured to adjust a recentering filter based on the detected head movement;
- and
- maintain, through execution of the first algorithm and the second algorithm, a spatial audio placement relative to a wearer during detected head movements of the wearer.
