Synchronization of emergency call location manager settings file

A computing device, comprising:

• one or more processors, and
• memory storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to:
• prevent, at a first time, a location manager from beginning to execute on the computing device until a second time, wherein:
• the location manager is configured to use a settings file to determine a location of the computing device in association with a call made by a softphone application on the computing device;
• retrieve, before the second time, the settings file from a remote repository;
• and
• initiating, at the second time, execution of the location manager following retrieval of the settings file.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a computing device, cause the computing device to:

• prevent, at a first time, a location manager from beginning to execute on the computing device until a second time, wherein:
• the location manager is configured to use a settings file to determine a location of the computing device in association with a call made by a softphone application on the computing device;
• retrieve, before the second time, the settings file from a remote repository;
• and
• initiate, at the second time, execution of the location manager following retrieval of the settings file.
