Communication method and apparatus

A communication apparatus, comprising a processor configured to execute a program code or instructions stored in a memory, to cause the communication apparatus to perform:

• sending N first reference signals to a second terminal apparatus, wherein N is an integer greater than 1;
• receiving M first signals from the second terminal apparatus, to obtain M first channel measurement results of M first reference signals corresponding to the M first signals and M second channel measurement results of the M first signals, wherein the M first signals are signals in P first signals, the P first signals are signals corresponding to P first reference signals, the M first signals carry the M first channel measurement results of M first reference signals corresponding to the M first signals, P is an integer less than or equal to N, and M is an integer less than or equal to P;
• determining a first transmit beam based on the M first channel measurement results of the M first reference signals, wherein the first transmit beam is used to send a signal;
• and
• determining a first receive beam based on the M second channel measurement results of the M first signals, wherein the first receive beam is used to receive a signal.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a communication apparatus, cause the communication apparatus to perform operations comprising:

• sending N first reference signals to a second terminal apparatus, wherein N is an integer greater than 1;
• receiving M first signals from the second terminal apparatus, to obtain M first channel measurement results of M first reference signals corresponding to the M first signals and M second channel measurement results of the M first signals, wherein the M first signals are signals in P first signals, the P first signals are signals corresponding to P first reference signals, the M first signals carry the M first channel measurement results of M first reference signals corresponding to the M first signals, P is an integer less than or equal to N, and M is an integer less than or equal to P;
• determining a first transmit beam based on the M first channel measurement results of the M first reference signals, wherein the first transmit beam is used to send a signal;
• and
• determining a first receive beam based on the M second channel measurement results of the M first signals, wherein the first receive beam is used to receive a signal.
