An information processing method performed by one or more processors, the information processing method comprising:

• extracting a target object that is at least one of a text object and a drawing object from document data;
• executing predetermined correction processing on the target object when the target object matches an object to be processed that is registered in advance;
• and
• generating image data for character recognition by executing render processing on the document data of which the target object has been corrected.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having an information processing program recorded therein, the information processing program causing one or more processors to execute:

• extracting a target object that is at least one of a text object and a drawing object from document data;
• executing predetermined correction processing on the target object when the target object matches an object to be processed that is registered in advance;
• and
• generating image data for character recognition by executing render processing on the document data of which the target object has been corrected.
