In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a request to generate a virtual road segment. The request including parameters specifying characteristics of how to generate the virtual road segment. The method includes synthesizing the virtual road segment according to the parameters using a generative model, including stitching at least two roadway segments together using sensor data from at least one roadway.
