Image object mask generation

A method of operation of a device, the method comprising:

• obtaining a first group of feature sets from a first sampling iteration of multiple sampling iterations associated with a diffusion model, wherein the multiple sampling iterations are configured to generate a latent representation of a first image;
• and
• generating, based on the first group of feature sets, first mask data that indicates a first mask associated with a first object of the first image.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

• obtain a first group of feature sets from a first sampling iteration of multiple sampling iterations associated with a diffusion model, wherein the multiple sampling iterations are configured to generate a latent representation of a first image;
• and
• generate, based on the first group of feature sets, first mask data that indicates a first mask associated with a first object of the first image.
