Lift device and corresponding scissor linkage

A linkage for a scissor link system comprising:

• a link arm having lateral sides;
• at least one plate secured to at least one of the lateral sides;
• and
• a tube (i) extending through the link arm and between the lateral sides, (ii) engaging the at least one plate via at least one force-fit engagement, and (iii) operable to rotatably receive a pivot pin.

A scissor link system comprising:

• a plurality of linkages;
• and
• a plurality pivots, each pivot operable to rotatably connect two or more linkages of the plurality of linkages to each other, wherein each pivot includes,
• first and second support plates secured to opposing lateral sides of a first linkage of the plurality of linkages,
• a first pivot tube extending through the first linkage and engaging the first and second support plates via first and second force-fit engagements, respectively,
• third and fourth support plates secured opposing lateral sides of a second linkage of the plurality of linkages,
• a second pivot tube extend through the second linkage and engaging the third and fourth support plates via third and fourth force-fit engagements, respectively, and
• a pivot pin extending through each of the first and second pivot tubes.
