A delivery device for deploying an implant cut from a biological tissue into an eye of a patient, the delivery device comprising:
- a proximal housing comprising an actuator;
- a nose cone comprising a proximal end region coupled to the proximal housing and a distal end region;
- and
- a tubular shaft projecting from the distal end region of the nose cone comprising a distal end region having a distal opening, a proximal end region having a proximal opening, and a lumen extending between the distal opening and the proximal opening, where the tubular shaft comprises an introducer tube at least partially encapsulated by an outer tube member, the introducer tube formed of a first material and the outer tube member formed of a second material that is different from the first material.
