Abstract
The invention relates to techniques for producing a holographic optical element (HOE) by replication of a master HOE. In particular, the invention relates to techniques for flexibly adjusting the diffraction efficiency of the HOE. An adjustable optical element (54) can be used to modify the intensity and/or the polarisation of light during the exposure process.
Claims10
A method for configuring a production method for producing a holographic optical element (HOE) by replicating a master HOE within the framework of an exposure process carried out by an exposure apparatus, wherein a carrier layer of the master HOE is arranged along a carrier layer of the HOE during the exposure process,
- wherein the method comprises the following step:
- generating control data for at least one adjustable optical element(s) of the exposure apparatus, with the optical element being arranged in a beam path of light used for the replication,
- wherein the at least one adjustable optical element can be controlled by means of the control data such that it changes during the exposure process at least one of an intensity and a polarization of the light over time.
