Abstract
The disclosure provided herein describes a composition comprising a consortium of bacteria that is capable of consuming methane (CH4) and/or fixing nitrogen (N2) at a high rate.

A composition comprising:
- a) a consortium of bacteria comprising a methanotroph capable of fixing nitrogen (N2) and consuming methane (CH4);
- and
- b) an additive, wherein the additive comprises tungsten, iron, nickel, molybdenum, cerium, manganese, lanthanum, cobalt, or boron.
The composition 137, wherein the consortium of bacteria is freeze dried.
