Abstract
A method for manufacturing a medical device includes: manufacturing an entry member entering a lesion by forming a through-hole in a flat portion of a workpiece having the flat portion, the entry member having a loop portion surrounding the through-hole; and joining the entry member and an elongated body to each other in such a way that the through-hole is oriented in a predetermined direction intersecting an axial direction of the elongated body.
Claims16
A method for manufacturing a medical device, comprising:
- manufacturing an entry member entering a lesion by forming a through-hole in a flat portion of a workpiece having the flat portion, the entry member having a loop portion surrounding the through-hole;
- and
- joining the entry member and an elongated body to each other in such a way that the through-hole is oriented in a predetermined direction intersecting an axial direction of the elongated body.
A medical device comprising:
- an elongated main body part;
- and
- a leading portion connected to a distal end of the main body part,
- the leading portion including an entry member entering a lesion,
- the entry member having a loop portion surrounding a through-hole passing through the entry member in a predetermined direction intersecting an axial direction of the main body part.
