Abstract
Disclosed are methods for treating X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS) in a subject in need thereof, for reducing intraretinal cysts, and/or preventing the formation of intraretinal cysts in a subject in need thereof.
Claims20
A method of preventing or treating X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS) in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising:
- administering an aqueous composition to an intravitreal space of an eye of a subject in need thereof.
A method of reducing intraretinal cysts and/or preventing the formation of intraretinal cysts in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering an aqueous composition to an intravitreal space of an eye of a subject in need thereof.
A method of treating X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS) and/or reducing intraretinal cysts in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising:
- administering a topical and/or a subconjunctival hypertonic solution to the eye of the subject;
- rapid lowering of intraocular pressure in the eye of the subject using medical and/or surgical techniques;
- and
- administering an aqueous composition to an intravitreal space of the eye of the subject.
