Abstract
The present disclosure provides devices and methods for monitoring health data of a subject. A device may include a wearable acoustic unit and a processing unit. The wearable acoustic unit may non-invasively detect an acoustic signal from a blood vessel of a subject. The processing unit may use the acoustic signal to continuously health data of a subject. Monitoring health data may include continuously monitoring a subject's blood pressure at an error rate of less than or equal to two percent.
Claims27
A device for continuous blood pressure monitoring, comprising:
- a wearable acoustic unit configured to non-invasively detect an acoustic signal from a blood vessel of a subject;
- and
- a processing unit configured to use said acoustic signal to continuously monitor a blood pressure of the subject at an error rate of less than or equal to about two percent.
A method for continuous blood pressure monitoring, comprising:
- (a) using a wearable acoustic unit to non-invasively detect an acoustic signal from a blood vessel of a subject;
- and
- (b) processing said acoustic signal to continuously monitor a blood pressure of said subject at an error rate of less than or equal to about two percent.
