Glucose monitoring device

A system for generation of alerts at one or more external devices, the system comprising:

• the one or more external devices;
• one or more tracking devices configured to generate blood glucose level data for one or more tracked individuals;
• an alert device for management of alerts generated at the one or more external devices, the alert device comprising:
• at least one processor configured to:
• receive input data, wherein the input data comprises blood glucose level data received from the one or more tracking devices;
• determine an alert setting for an alert to be generated at an external device of the one or more external devices based on the input data, wherein the alert setting includes at least one of:
• an identification of the external device where the alert is to be generated;
• a magnitude of the alert;
• or
• an alert type, with the alert type being at least one of an audible alert, a haptic alert, or a visual alert;
• and
• generate a signal that causes the alert to be generated at the external device, with the alert having the alert type.

A method for generation of alerts at one or more external devices, the method comprising:

• receiving input data, wherein the input data comprises blood glucose level data received from a tracking device;
• determining an alert setting for an alert to be generated at an external device of the one or more external devices based on the input data, wherein the alert setting includes at least one of:
• an identification of the external device where the alert is to be generated;
• a magnitude of the alert;
• or
• an alert type, with the alert type being at least one of an audible alert, a haptic alert, or a visual alert;
• and
• generate a signal that causes the alert to be generated at the external device, with the alert having the alert type.
