A weighted blanket comprising:
- a weighted insert containing a plurality of sealed pockets wherein a majority of said sealed pockets are filled with weighted material;
- a first outer cover and a second outer cover where the weighted insert is sealed between said first and second outer covers;
- wherein a cut-out is provided in the upper portion of the blanket,
