Enhanced dispute protection

A computer comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer readable medium, the non-transitory computer readable medium comprising code, executable by the processor, for implementing operations comprising:
• receiving, from an authorizing entity computer, a dispute message for a dispute comprising an interaction identifier for an interaction between a resource provider and a user;
• determining a resource provider computer associated with the interaction identified by the interaction identifier;
• obtaining, from a database, historical interaction data related to the resource provider computer and the user;
• evaluating the historical interaction data using a plurality of rules;
• determining an outcome based whether or not the historical interaction data satisfies a threshold number of rules of the plurality of rules;
• and
• providing the outcome to the authorizing entity computer.

A system comprising:

• a network processing computer comprising,
• a processor, and
• a non-transitory computer readable medium, the non-transitory computer readable medium comprising code, executable by the processor, for implementing operations comprising,
• receiving, from an authorizing entity computer, a dispute message for a dispute comprising an interaction identifier for an interaction between a resource provider and a user,
• determining a resource provider computer associated with the interaction identified by the interaction identifier,
• obtaining, from a database, historical interaction data related to the resource provider computer and the user,
• evaluating the historical interaction data using a plurality of rules,
• determining an outcome based whether or not the historical interaction data satisfies a threshold number of rules of the plurality of rules, and
• providing the outcome to the authorizing entity computer;
• and
• a directory server in communication with the network processing computer, wherein the directory server provides at least some of the historical interaction data to the database.
