Abstract
The present invention relates to a double-lumen oocyte aspiration needle and use thereof in the collection of oocytes from the ovaries of animals undergoing assisted reproduction procedures.
Claims12
An oocyte aspiration needle with double lumen, said aspirator needle comprising a needle connected to a bifurcated chamber composed of a front base piece and coupled to a rear base piece and a rod;
- wherein said needle has an aspiration hose inserted internally into said needle;
- wherein said aspiration hose consists of a thermoplastic material with low friction coefficient;
- and
- wherein said needle has a total length less than 110 mm.
