Communication method and apparatus

A communication method, applied to a second communication apparatus, wherein the method comprises:

• receiving a first modulation symbol and a second modulation symbol from a first communication apparatus;
• and
• demodulating the first modulation symbol based on a constellation diagram to obtain M bits, and demodulating the second modulation symbol based on the constellation diagram to obtain N bits, wherein N and M are positive integers, wherein
• a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence have different values at a first location, and a third bit sequence and a fourth bit sequence are the same;
• or a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence are the same, and a third bit sequence and a fourth bit sequence have different values at a second location;
• and
• the first bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to a real part of the first modulation symbol, the second bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to a real part of the second modulation symbol, the third bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to an imaginary part of the first modulation symbol, the fourth bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to an imaginary part of the second modulation symbol, the first location is a location of any bit in the first bit sequence or the second bit sequence, the second location is a location of any bit in the third bit sequence or the fourth bit sequence, and the first modulation symbol and the second modulation symbol are symmetrical along a horizontal axis or a vertical axis of the constellation diagram.

An apparatus, comprising at least one processor coupled to at least one memory storing instructions and configured to execute the instructions to cause the apparatus to:

• modulate M bits based on a constellation diagram to obtain a first modulation symbol, and modulating N bits based on the constellation diagram to obtain a second modulation symbol, wherein both M and N are positive integers;
• and
• send the first modulation symbol and the second modulation symbol to a second communication apparatus, wherein
• a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence have different values at a first location, and a third bit sequence and a fourth bit sequence are the same;
• or a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence are the same, and a third bit sequence and a fourth bit sequence have different values at a second location;
• and
• the first bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to a real part of the first modulation symbol, the second bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to a real part of the second modulation symbol, the third bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to an imaginary part of the first modulation symbol, the fourth bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to an imaginary part of the second modulation symbol, the first location is a location of any bit in the first bit sequence or the second bit sequence, the second location is a location of any bit in the third bit sequence or the fourth bit sequence, and the first modulation symbol and the second modulation symbol are symmetrical along a horizontal axis or a vertical axis of the constellation diagram.

An apparatus, comprising at least one processor coupled to at least one memory storing instructions and configured to execute the instructions to cause the apparatus to:

• receive a first modulation symbol and a second modulation symbol from a first communication apparatus;
• and
• demodulate the first modulation symbol based on a constellation diagram to obtain M bits, and demodulating the second modulation symbol based on the constellation diagram to obtain N bits, wherein N and M are positive integers, wherein
• a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence have different values at a first location, and a third bit sequence and a fourth bit sequence are the same;
• or a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence are the same, and a third bit sequence and a fourth bit sequence have different values at a second location;
• and
• the first bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to a real part of the first modulation symbol, the second bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to a real part of the second modulation symbol, the third bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to an imaginary part of the first modulation symbol, the fourth bit sequence is a bit sequence corresponding to an imaginary part of the second modulation symbol, the first location is a location of any bit in the first bit sequence or the second bit sequence, the second location is a location of any bit in the third bit sequence or the fourth bit sequence, and the first modulation symbol and the second modulation symbol are symmetrical along a horizontal axis or a vertical axis of the constellation diagram.
