Abstract
A switching circuit comprises a radio frequency (RF) switch, a gate resistor, a voltage source, a transmission gate, and coupling circuitry configured to couple a gate of the RF switch, a first side of the gate resistor, and the transmission gate at a first node and the voltage source, a second side of the gate resistor, and the transmission gate at a second node.

A method comprising:
- activating a radio frequency (RF) switch, the RF switch including a gate coupled to a gate resistor;
- and
- applying voltage pulses to a transmission gate to short the gate resistor, the transmission gate being coupled to a first side of the gate resistor and the gate of the RF switch at a first node and further being coupled to a second side of the gate resistor at a second node.
A method comprising:
- providing a supply voltage from a voltage source to a radio frequency (RF) switch, the RF switch including a gate coupled to a gate resistor, the gate resistor being directly coupled between the voltage source and the RF switch, and the gate resistor being coupled in parallel with a transmission gate, the transmission gate including a first semiconductor and a second semiconductor;
- in response to the supply voltage being positive, shifting voltage at the transmission gate to shift the first semiconductor to an on-state and the second semiconductor to an off-state;
- and
- in response to the supply voltage being negative, shifting voltage at the transmission gate to shift the first semiconductor to an off-state and the second semiconductor to an on-state.

A method comprising:
- activating a radio frequency (RF) switch, the RF switch including a gate coupled to a gate resistor;
- and
- applying voltage pulses to a transmission gate via a first level shifter or a second level shifter to short the gate resistor, the transmission gate being coupled to a first side of the gate resistor and the gate of the RF switch at a first node and further being coupled to a second side of the gate resistor at a second node.
