Abstract
A battery module includes a housing accommodating a plurality of battery cells in an internal space. A flow path extending in a first direction and configured to dispense a fire extinguishing agent into the internal space of the housing. One or more partition walls extend in a second direction different from the first direction and divide the internal space of the housing into two or more internal spaces.

A battery module comprising:
- a housing accommodating a plurality of battery cells in an internal space of the housing;
- a flow path extending in a first direction and configured to dispense a fire extinguishing agent into the internal space of the housing;
- and
- at least one partition wall extending in a second direction different from the first direction and dividing the internal space of the housing into two or more sub-internal spaces.
