Top cover assembly and battery

A top cover assembly, sealed at an opening of a housing of a battery, wherein a cell is accommodated within the housing, and the top cover assembly comprises:

• a cover component comprising a cover plate and a pole, wherein the cover plate is connected to the opening of the housing, the cover plate is provided with a first through hole, one end of the pole is located on an inner side of the cover plate and is electrically connected to a tab of the cell, and the other end of the pole extends from the first through hole to an outer side of the cover plate;
• and
• a top cover component comprising a first connector, a positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC), and a top cover that are sequentially connected in a direction facing away from the housing;
• the first connector is located above the cover plate and is electrically connected to the pole.
